Mara keeps a well-trained eye on the processes and operations that are necessary to keep the business matters of an extremely busy measurable marketing agency running smoothly and efficiently at all times. With more than 20 years of marketing communications experience, as well as a solid history in the manufacturing and finance fields, Mara’s primary responsibilities as director of operations deal with human resources and the firm’s financial health.

Each day Mara handles staffing and employee concerns, establishes policies and procedures, and performs finance-related tasks including budgeting, monitoring cash flow and preparing financial statements. It’s exhausting, demanding, detail-heavy work, and Mara approaches it with a serene confidence that both Johnson Direct employees and clients appreciate. She mixes a focused, no-nonsense work ethic with a sweet, generous spirit that set her apart as a genuine people person specialist.
