Delta Dental of Wisconsin


The Challenge


The state’s most popular dental insurance provider came to Johnson Direct to plan and design a product-dedicated for its new Individual insurance plan.

The Solutions

Johnson Direct strategized the site and produced its content to educate prospective subscribers and empower agents with easy-to-digest product information. Most importantly, the microsite is designed to walk subscribers and agents through a simple online enrollment process.


The Results

When launched early this summer, the product focused website will offer the following benefits to its target audiences:

  • Agents will use it as a “one stop shop” to sell and provide information to potential policy holders
  • Individuals seeking insurance will use the microsite to get more information on the product, including benefits, deductibles and selection of dentists
  • Both agents and individuals will use the new, user friendly enrollment engine to buy a plan immediately

The new product was initially introduced on one page within the insurers main website (which is designed for business and group insurance subscribers, not individuals.) It lead visitors to a several-step enrollment process that allowed EFT payment only.

The new site design exclusively targets individuals and their dental insurance concerns, interests and needs. Visitors will find a wealth of useful, decision-making information, including a “Not Sure Where to Start” Guide. The revamped 3-step enrollment process is user-friendly and allows payment by credit card or EFT.
