Custom-developed Field Sales Tool

RBP Chemical Technology launched its Printing Chemistry Sales Toolbox, an app-like, custom-developed online product selector and problem solver, designed and developed by Johnson Direct’s interactive team. The Sales Toolbox specifically supports sales and service engineers out in the field. During customer calls, the password-protected Toolbox is accessible via laptop or iPad providing on-the-spot troubleshooting guidance and full access to hundreds of product data sheets.

RBP users are empowered with real-time access to product and technical data, facilitating swifter solutions and customer decision-making. Envisioned by RBP’s executive team and thoroughly tested in the field by sales personnel, the Printing Chemistry Sales Toolbox delivers everything the sales or service engineer needs to point a print customer, procurement specialist or floor operator to a specific solution. Users can browse solutions by application, by product category or with a troubleshooting guide. It also provides instant access to corporate materials to help RBP sales and customer service reps create proposals and presentations.

The interactive Toolbox complements and enhances the company’s customer-focused approach and unique positioning statement — The Intelligent Choice.

“The Johnson Direct team was instrumental in taking an ill-defined, complex problem and subsequently creating a customer-friendly, innovative approach to our product catalog. While teaming with Johnson Direct, the originality, brainstorming, and developmental processes resulted in a world-class, one-of-a-kind Sales Toolbox for our sales and service staffs. Not only does this solution make our product line offerings transparent to the customer, but it actually allowed increased sales through "point of purchase" of ancillary products. I would highly recommend teaming with Johnson Direct for all marketing and branding needs.”
